Wanting to start a farm, is this a good phone?

I have been using checkpoints and perktv for a few weeks now, and I am wanting to expand my earning capabilities. I have about $50 to spend, and saw these android phones at family dollar for $10 and I am wanting to buy 5, but don't know if they will work for this. I don't own an android phone, and haven't really used this OS for quite a while, so I am trying to see if these phones would allow me to use checkpoints or perktv. Thanks!
