Help with email

I am new to /r/Beermoney. I heard swagbucks was a good place to start, however when I attempted to sign up there was already an account made in my email. I thought maybe I made one years ago and forgot about it. However the forgot password email stated a name different than mine. Any clue on what I should do? Reset the password? or leave it be since I have not noticed a breach in my email acocunts? Any input would be amazing thanks.
