Are search engine battle comments worthwhile?

I just got one of those messages on uhrs that typically give advice every once in awhile while you're doing search engine battle, and it said that leaving detailed comments can lead to incentive pay.

I'd just like to know, how true is this? And does it make it worthwhile to stop to make detailed comments on everything? Or is it just one of those tips that they put in to try to keep efficiency up?
