When friends ask you how you manage your finances so well, they don't listen?

Anyone else have friends/family who want to save money like you, but when you explain how, suddenly it's way too hard?

I've got friends who earn so much more than me but never have savings. They've asked me to help them figure out their finances, but also refuse to make lifestyle changes. They've told me they never question how much their food costs and if they feel like eating out they always will.
