Does Kroger Have a Cash Discount Now?

I bought my groceries with cash today, something I don't do often. The total was $79 and I handed the cashier $80. He then handed me back 3 dollars and some change. Looking at my receipt, it shows the subtotal, then cash on two lines, then a smaller subtotal (the amount I ended up being charged.

If this is the case, I'll pay with cash every time.
