Can someone update me on OS requirements for mobile Swagbucks apps?

I am looking into getting another smartphone (or tablet) for the explicit purpose of being able to run the SB apps. My current ones go up to Kitkat and I get "Your device is not incompatible with this version." when I try to install them.

I think they need at least iOS 10 or 11 since it is mentioned the in the app description.

This same info is not available for Andoid apps in the Store and I am more likely to get an Android device than chasing expensive (and soon to be obsolete) iPhones on the second hand market.
